The Centres Internationaux de Séjour de Paris were set up by the City of Paris to make staying in Paris possible for the greatest number of people.

The Centres Internationaux de Séjour de Paris are managed by a public service organisation of the Paris Town Council, the Ligue de l'Enseignement.

The Ligue de l'Enseignement, which is a nonprofit-making association under the 1901 law recognised as a public utility by the decree of 31 May 1930, was set up in 1866. This popular education movement invites citizens to join forces in the fight against inequality, to enter into discussion and to play a role in the city in order to create a society that is fairer, freer and more supportive towards the emancipation of all people.

Our mission is to encourage cultural exchanges, acting as a place to meet for both young and old, allowing them to discover Paris, its inhabitants and its culture in an agreeable atmosphere.

At a time when our planet is being torn apart by numerous conflicts, we are convinced that the best way of counteracting violence or intolerance is to get to know other peoples and their culture.

Besides offering accommodation, during your stay the Centres Internationaux de Séjours invite you to take part in the activities, exhibitions and debates held at the Centre d'animation et du théâtre on behalf of the Centre International de Séjour "Maurice Ravel" as well as in the numerous events for the two centres.

So welcome to Paris….
